Your October 26 astrology forecast comes with a full cosmic calendar: a Full Moon in Taurus, Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, Venus retrograde in Libra, and a shift into November. Apparently, the sky also likes to schedule everything at once. 😂
This October 26 astrology forecast covers the week through November 1, looking at what those events traditionally represent, with practical ways to explore the themes in your money, relationships, work, home, and everyday life.
There’s room for deep reflection this week, but also for pleasure, creativity, and taking care of what’s right in front of you. Not every realization needs to become a crisis. Sometimes you need to check the agreement. Sometimes you need dinner.
And yes, we’ll leave a little room for our newsletter question: what are you ready to stop letting haunt you?
We use astrology, numerology, and Human Design as symbolic reflection tools, not scientifically established predictions. The dates are checked; the interpretations are invitations to consider.
| Event | Timing | Traditional themes |
|---|---|---|
| Full Moon in Taurus | Monday, October 26, 12:12 a.m. EDT | Resources, comfort, security, culmination |
| Sun square Pluto | Monday, October 26 | Power, control, change |
| Mercury retrograde in Scorpio | Throughout the week | Reviewing information, motives, communication |
| Venus retrograde in Libra | Throughout the week | Relationships, values, fairness, beauty |
| Last Quarter Moon in Leo | Sunday, November 1, 3:28 p.m. EST | Reassessment, expression, adjusting course |
Times use New York’s local time. Daylight saving time ends November 1, which is why Monday uses EDT, and Sunday uses EST. See the planetary calendar and October’s aspect listings.
Monday’s Full Moon in Taurus lands at 12:12 a.m. EDT, so just after Sunday night turns into Monday.
Taurus is astrology’s lover of good food, soft fabrics, nice things, and knowing the bills are covered. Scorpio, where the Sun is sitting, wants to know what’s going on underneath all that.
Put them across from each other at a Full Moon, and our question becomes: What makes me feel comfortable, and what am I just getting comfortable putting up with?
Maybe your house looks lovely, but you’re the only person keeping it that way. Maybe you’re paying for three subscriptions you forgot existed. Maybe you keep saving your favorite outfit, fancy tea, or good plates for an occasion that apparently requires a royal invitation.
This is a lovely week to notice what you need and what you enjoy; both count.
Check one expense. Ask for help with one recurring task. Use the good fucking plates.
A Full Moon is traditionally a moment to see something more clearly. You don’t have to renovate your life before breakfast. Just notice what’s working, what’s costing too much, and what could feel a little better.
Monday also brings a Sun–Pluto square. “Square” is astrology language for a tense angle between planets; here, the usual themes are power, control, and change.
In normal-person language: a useful time to ask whether you’re solving a problem or trying to win it.
You want the weekend planned your way. Someone else has a competing vision. Suddenly we’re no longer discussing Saturday; we’re presenting evidence from 2022.
Nobody ordered the courtroom drama.
This doesn’t mean Monday comes with a guaranteed argument. Use the symbolism as a check-in: What can I actually decide here? What needs a conversation? What am I trying to force?
That works for a project at work, plans with your partner, or a group chat where six people are attempting to choose one restaurant.
Be clear about what matters to you. Leave room for the other person to answer. And consider whether “I hadn’t thought of it that way” might save everyone forty-five minutes.
Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio all week, until November 13. In astrology, this is a review period for communication, information, and unfinished business. Scorpio brings the urge to dig a little deeper.
Great for finding the missing detail. Less useful for deciding someone hates you because they replied “okay” without their usual three exclamation points.
Before opening an investigation, ask a question.
“Did you mean this?”
“Are we still on for Friday?”
“Can you explain what that includes?”
You can also use the week to finish the boring little tasks that keep following you around: check the booking, find the document, reread the instructions. Your future self might appreciate that more than another elaborate plan.
And yes, this is where our Halloween theme gets a cameo.
Before sending the follow-up to the follow-up, ask: Was I unclear, or am I uncomfortable that someone sees it differently?
If something needs fixing, fix it. If you’ve said your piece and listened to theirs, another paragraph may not be the missing ingredient.
Mercury can have its retrograde. You can still have your evening.
Venus is retrograde in Libra throughout the week, until November 13. Venus covers love, money, pleasure, and taste. Libra brings in fairness and how we get along.
Think of this as a chance to check the arrangements you’ve stopped questioning.
Who makes the plans? Who remembers the birthdays? Does “we should have people over” somehow become your grocery list, your cleaning afternoon, and your disappearing Saturday?
Or maybe you’re the one who keeps assuming somebody else will handle it. We’re all invited to this little review. 😂
The question is: Does this still work for the people involved?
That might mean talking about date-night planning, choosing a friend outing everyone can afford, or making sure motherhood hasn’t turned your own hobbies into a historical footnote.
And Venus isn’t only here to discuss chores. She also has excellent taste.
Revisit something you enjoy. Wear the earrings. Play the old playlist. Make something with absolutely no plan to sell it.
Something can be worth your time simply because you like it.
If Human Design gate numbers make your eyes glaze over, stay with me. There are two useful questions underneath the terminology.
The Sun starts the week in Gate 28, then moves into Gate 44 later in the week. The published calendar lists the next move on October 31 in UTC.
Gate 28 asks: What feels worth the effort?
Some things are hard because they matter. Learning a skill, building a business, working through a real problem with someone you love. Other things are hard because you keep volunteering for a job you don’t want.
Which one are you dealing with?
Gate 44 asks: What have I learned from doing this before?
Maybe you know that saying yes to every weekend plan leaves you cranky by Sunday. Maybe a particular work process keeps creating the same problem. Notice what experience has taught you before signing up for the sequel.
A familiar feeling isn’t proof you know how something will end, though. Give yourself room to check the facts.
These are reflection questions inspired by Gate 28 and Gate 44. In Human Design, your own Strategy and Authority are the terms for how you make decisions, and they still take priority over a weekly transit.
We cross into November this week, so our monthly number changes. Tiny math break. Nobody panic.
Using a common calendar-based numerology method:
In this tradition, October’s 11/2 is linked with noticing more, feeling more, and paying attention to relationships. November’s 3 brings themes of creativity, expression, and having a little fun with other humans.
So, as a reflection prompt: what have you noticed lately, and what would you like to do with it?
Write something. Try the idea. Text the friend. Let an interest be interesting before demanding that it become a complete personality.
For a few daily prompts:
These are shared calendar numbers, not your personal numbers or one official “number of the week.” Other methods reduce October to 2. We’re showing our method so the numbers aren’t just appearing in a cloud of glitter.
Use what gives you a useful question. Your calendar is still allowed to have its own plans.
The Last Quarter Moon in Leo arrives Sunday, November 1, at 3:28 p.m. EST.
A last quarter is the Moon’s halfway-lit phase after the Full Moon. Astrologers use it as a moment to look back and adjust. Leo adds creativity, play, and wanting to feel seen.
Our Sunday question: Have I left room for anything I actually enjoy?
Not everything has to be useful. You can dress up for dinner at home. Work on something because making it feels good. Tell your partner you’d love them to plan a surprise. Read the book without first answering every message.
You can love your people and want a few hours to feel like yourself. You can be ambitious and still have a hobby that earns exactly zero dollars.
Pick one small adjustment for the week ahead. If you start building a whole system before doing it, our five-minute approach to overthinking is here for that familiar detour.

Green lights: ask the question, check the details, share the work, revisit something you enjoy, and make one change you can actually use.
Red lights: inventing someone else’s motives, turning a small disagreement into a championship event, and making every free hour audition for a productivity award.
To put this October 26 astrology forecast to use, pick whichever question fits your life:
This needs my attention: _____.
This is still worth my effort: _____.
This would make my week more enjoyable: _____.
“Cancel the unused subscription, talk about the schedule, and wear the boots” is a perfectly respectable answer. There will be no grading.
The October 26 astrology forecast gives us plenty to explore this week: what makes you feel secure: what makes you feel secure, what needs another look, whether your agreements still work, and where a little creativity could sneak back in.
You don’t have to solve all of it.
Choose whatever caught your attention while reading. Start there. And if an old conversation comes knocking at midnight, check whether it has anything new to say before handing it a key.
We have enough Halloween guests already. 😂
